2015 Reimagine Education competition

The 2015 Reimagine Education competition deadline is approaching fast: 31st July 2015 - and hope that you will consider participating or invite colleagues  involved with pedagogical innovations to join the competition.

The 2014 inaugural Wharton – QS Stars Reimagine Education Awards, saw 437 competition applicants from 35 countries, a distinguished panel of 25 international judges, 21 award recipients and a prize fund of US$ 50,000  for the overall winning projects.

Last year’s competition and conference provided the platform to start new global collaborations.

One of the winners, Professor Yeh, Ping-Cheng (Benson) of National Taiwan University says “Reimagine Education has been a game-changer for PaGaMo. Winning the competition and the prize has given the project global visibility. As a result, PaGaMo has attracted $ 6 million investment to grow the project further".

Amongst our panel of 30 internationally renowned judges for the  2015 competition are:

  • Androulla Vassiliou, former European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Multilingualism, and Youth
  • Fanta Aw, President of NAFSA
  • Daniel Obst, Deputy Vice President, International Partnerships – Institute of International Education (IIE)
  • Dr. Satya V. Nitta, Program Director of the Cognitive Learning Content research group at IBM’s T J Watson Research Center
  • Charles McIntyre, co-founder EdTech Europe
  • Jaime Casap, Senior Education Evangelist at Google
  • Sean Coughlan – BBC News education correspondent
  • Caroline Howard – Education Editor - Forbes
  • Julie Hare - Education Editor, The Australian


The call for submissions for the 2015 Awards is now open at www.reimagine-education.com.

They are seeking out the most innovative approaches to pedagogy from around the world.

There will be awards given for each of the following categories, with global public acknowledgement and media exposure offered to all shortlisted candidates.
